The Momentum Model
Through the Momentum model, employment is provided to justice-involved youth through a 12-month curriculum and internship, during which time they are trained in every aspect of operating a fine dining restaurant - from cooking to serving to bussing and more.
Simultaneously, they are supported by a robust ecosystem of socioemotional support and job placement assistance upon completion of the program.
The Restaurant
Our first restaurant, located in Dallas, Texas, provides a transformative experience through a 12-month curriculum and internship program for young people coming out of juvenile facilities. They rotate through all aspects of the restaurant, focusing on life and social skills, coaching and development.
National Expansion
As the parent company to Café Momentum, Momentum Advisory Collective™ (M.A.C.) is building programs across the country to expand opportunity and enable more system-involved youth to reach their full potential with the holistic support of their community.
